A Little About the Maker…

Amanda began her cross stitch business, Riverdrift, in honour of her Welsh family. She has many fascinating stories and cherished memories. Her grandmother, affectionately known as Moony, was a midwife who delivered Shirley Bassey’s daughter and her great uncle, who was a fruit importer at the Cardiff docks, brought the first Bananas into Britain after the end of WWII!
